This story is a good example of God taking over a project and expanding far beyond what I had imagined. I started this off as a story about a guy rescuing a gal from kidnapping. That was all I had, and I thought it might make a cute love story. Now it's an intense story about family, mentorship, and forgiveness. Plus it became a trilogy.
