I originally thought the story about Silvyn the merman and the mysterious land-dweller woman who befriends him was going to be a small story contained within a larger book titled Aluthnia, which would be the prequel to my Redemption of Kiwaft series.

God had other plans! After this little booklet was released, Silvyn's story became much, much bigger and incorporated much deeper themes than I had originally imagined.
