A fun story in which seven different, sentient species live in seven different environments, including forest, ocean, and lava, among others. Each ruler of these species has a magical, gemlike stone that helps them govern their respective dominions.
In this story, trouble ensues when an overly loyal creature of the forest, a Silva named Tanoak Winterleaf, decides that his beloved ruler, Queen Sycamore, ought to be the ruler of all lands. When his plan succeeds, he is dismayed to learn that his idolized queen is not so benevolent as she first seemed.
Can he undo the devastation he has wrought before it is too late?
