When Ty and Jace come upon a seeker in the woods, their interest extends only as far as sorting out who lied to whom when they were mischievous kids, but the encounter leads them into a world of mysteries and prophecies, of danger and purpose, of the past and of the future.

Soon they will be well in over their heads in adventures and mishaps as they try to find out who the heralds are and what they have to do with the prophecy of the coming Rescuer.
